Disabled woman foils sex assault
A disabled woman managed to stop a man sexually assaulting her at home by pulling an emergency help cord.

The 59-year-old woman awoke to find the man in her bedroom early on Wednesday morning and pulled the cord triggering an alarm with a building warden.

The man, who had broken into her home in Bristol, fled, taking items including a mobile phone and purse.

He is described as black, aged around 25, 5ft 6in tall, slim, bald with stubble and in a dark bomber jacket.
