Park regeneration plans expected

Hengrove Park spans 200 acres

A formal planning application on a multi-million pound redevelopment in south Bristol is expected to be submitted in the next month.

Hengrove Park would boast a new hospital, sports centre and swimming pool, plus houses and offices, if the application was successful.

Councillor Helen Holland said: "Hengrove Park is a very ambitious regeneration project."

The scheme is being run as a joint private and public sector project.
