More than a million Sri Lankans have been left homeless
A second aircraft has taken off from Bristol International Airport on Tuesday loaded with supplies for the disaster relief effort in Sri Lanka.

The Antonov 12 transporter plane will carry one-month's supplies for the Red Cross team on the island, plus an all-terrain vehicle.

Another aircraft carrying equipment for the aid agency's base in Sri Lanka left the airport on 30 December.

Sri Lanka was one of the countries worst-hit by the Indian Ocean tsunami.

About 150,000 have been killed and more than one million left homeless.
