Tom was an avid Bristol Rovers supporter, his parents said
The parents of an 11-year-old boy who died after falling off his bicycle in Bristol have paid tribute to their son.

Thomas Brown, known as Tom, of Marlwood Drive, Brentry, died at Bristol Children's Hospital following the accident on Sunday afternoon.

His parents, Patricia and Glynn Brown, said Tom was "a very happy and lively lad who was always on the go and had many good friends.

"He will be especially remembered for his cheeky grin."

Tom played football for Henbury Old Boys and rugby for Saracens. He was also an avid Bristol Rovers supporter.

Details of his funeral have yet to be confirmed, but Mr and Mrs Brown have said they will be asking people to wear football and rugby shirts, instead of dressing in black.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the accident, at around 1230BST in Marlwood Drive, to contact them.
