Success for young entrepreneur
Matthew Ogbourne
Mr Ogbourne launched his idea from his bedroom
A young entrepreneur has started a business based on his successful internet sales.

Matthew Ogbourne, 25 and from Bristol, launched his idea from his bedroom. He is now about to publish a book called Say Goodbye To Your Boss.

He began earning money when he worked out how he could sell surplus company stock over internet sites like ebay.

"It's been manic. I am looking to move from ebay to selling surplus business stock and move to consultancy."

'Buying bug'

"I was in a dead-end job and I had credit card debts and student loans and I was getting nowhere in my dead-end job.

"Then I found ebay and got the buying bug. It all suddenly clicked and everything I had been doing all slotted into place. Then in January I started full time.

"It's all so strange. You're told to go to school and gain your qualifications and everything, but what I did was going against everything that I was told.

"Now I work for myself and it's absolutely fantastic."
