Man's face cut during robbery bid
A 21-year-old man was slashed across the face with a blade during an attempted robbery in Bristol.

He was crossing a footbridge near Three Lamps Junction on the A4 Bath Road when he was attacked by three men.

The man suffered two cuts to his eyebrow and one to his right cheek from what may have been a Stanley knife.

Police said he escaped and flagged down a passing paramedic who took him to the Bristol Royal Infirmary. The attack happened at about 1830 BST on Sunday.

The three suspects are black. One was aged about 20, 5ft 8ins tall, with a thin beard around his mouth and he wore a grey hooded top and white cap.

The second is aged about 23, 5ft 10ins tall and was wearing a hooded top and a cap with a logo on top.

The third is about 5ft 6ins tall and was dressed all in black.
