New congestion measures planned
A car sharing project is being considered on the outskirts of Bristol to reduce morning rush hour congestion.

North Somerset Council wants to reserve a lane of the A370 for vehicles carrying two or more people, from 0700 to 0930 BST each morning.

The A370 Long Ashton bypass, from Flax Bourton to the Yanley Viaduc, is being considered for the proposal.

Buses and motorcycles would also be allowed to use the lane. The consultation will last three weeks.
