Balloon factory base for police
Hot air balloon
Cameron is the world's largest maker of balloons

Three police officers are to be based at a hot air balloon factory in Bristol.

Cameron Balloons - the world's largest balloon manufacturer - is providing office space for a new police post at its premises in St John Street, Bedminster.

Pcs Nick Tizzard, Jamie Joyce and Stuart Seddon will use the post as a base to work from, going on regular foot patrols and forging links with businesses and local people.

Sergeant Steve White, of Broadbury Road police station, said: "This will provide an opportunity for a team of three police officers to commit themselves just to that area."

Hannah Cameron of Cameron Balloons said: "Bedminster is an area that we enjoy working in, many of our staff live in the surrounding area and we want to make it a safer place for all by supporting the police in projects such as this.
