Girl suffers rape horror
A 17-year-old girl has been raped in a Bristol suburb.

The girl was walking along Marksbury Road close to Timsbury Walk in Bedminster at about 2200 GMT on 2 December when she was grabbed by two men and dragged into a lane close to a nearby college.

One held her down while the second man raped her. Both men then left the scene at about 2210 GMT.

Detective Inspector Guy Turner, of Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We would like anyone who was in the area around the City of Bristol College in Marksbury Road, between 9.30pm and 10.30pm and saw two men to please contact us."

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail.
