Huddersfield police study fans' disorder CCTV

Police are using CCTV footage to try to identify people involved in violence before the football match between Huddersfield and Millwall on Friday.

Fighting broke out between rival fans before the game in Huddersfield.

West Yorkshire Police said it was called to reports of disorder on Wakefield Road in Waterloo at 1900 BST, 45 minutes before kick-off.

The force said no serious injuries were reported. No arrests have been made. Witnesses are being sought.

Police said several Millwall fans were escorted away from the area by officers and did not attend the match.

A force spokesman said it would "not tolerate any violence or disorder of this type" and said the offenders would be dealt with "severely"
