A 20-year-old man has been charged after a nine-year-old boy was killed in a knife attack.

West Yorkshire Police said Daniel Taylor - believed to be the victim's older brother - had been charged with murder and wounding with intent.

Jackson Taylor and his 18-year-old sister were both stabbed in the attack at a house in the Wibsey area of Bradford on Thursday night.

A spokesman said he will appear before Bradford magistrates on Saturday.

Police were called to a house on Rookes Avenue at 1946 GMT on Thursday after reports of a stabbing.

The boy was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary by ambulance but died from his injuries.

Police said a post-mortem examination showed he died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
