Arrest over curry house shooting

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting outside a curry house in Bradford in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A 33-year-old man was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary following the incident at 0130 BST in Leeds Road.

Police said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

The incident is not thought to be linked to a second shooting at the Cube night club on Ivegate in the city in which two men were injured.

West Yorkshire Police appealed for anyone who saw a black Volkswagon Golf in the Leeds Road area at the time of the incident to come forward.
