Three injured in city shootings

Two men are in hospital and another has been discharged following two separate shooting incidents in Bradford in the early hours.

Police were called to a curry house in Leeds Road at 0130 BST where they found a man, 33, outside who had been shot.

Officers were then called to the Cube nightclub on Ivegate at 0350 BST, where a man, 21, had been shot, and another man, 42, had gunshot injuries.

West Yorkshire Police said it did not believe the incidents were linked.

The 33-year-old and 21-year old men were taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary where their conditions were described as stable. It was not thought their injuries were life-threatening, police said.

The 42-year-old man was thought to have been injured whilst inside the nightclub. He was taken to hospital but was later discharged.

Police described a "possible suspect" as white, about 6ft 3in tall with thick sideburns and a bushy goatee beard which was brown or ginger.

Officers said the man initially had the lower part of his face covered with a blue bandana with a white pattern on it. He also had a red cross on his right hand, near his thumb.
