Two charged over boy's fire death

Two teenagers have appeared in court charged with killing a 12-year-old boy who died in a house fire in West Yorkshire.

The two, aged 16 and 17, appeared at Bingley Youth Court charged with manslaughter. They were remanded in custody until next Wednesday.

Damian Clough was found dead at the house in Kinara Close, Stocksbridge, on Saturday.

A post-mortem examination revealed the boy died from smoke inhalation.

Five people were initially arrested by police, and three later released without charge.
