Man found dead after flat blaze

A man's body has been found in a burning flat in West Yorkshire.

Emergency services were called to the property in Leeds Road in Laisterdyke, Bradford, on Thursday night.

Firefighters found the man's body inside the flat, which is above a shop. He has not yet been named by police. The road was closed for three hours.

West Yorkshire Police and fire investigators are looking into the incident but the cause of the blaze is not thought to be suspicious.
