Youths die in crash with lamppost

Two teenagers were killed when the car they were travelling in crashed into a lamppost in West Yorkshire.

The 16-year-olds, from Leeds, were passengers in a Nissan Primera which crashed in Hall Ings, Bradford city centre, in the early hours.

Police said the car was travelling with a Nissan Micra when the collision happened.

A 17-year-old boy and two men, aged 18 and 33, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

One is receiving hospital treatment and the other two remain in custody.

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to contact them.
