Man shot in leg outside town club

A group of men are being questioned by police after a shooting in the centre of Huddersfield early on Saturday.

West Yorkshire Police said a man in his 30s was shot in the leg outside a club on Beast Market in the town shortly after 0330 BST.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are not thought to be serious.

Officers investigating the incident arrested an unspecified number of people in Huddersfield and Sheffield.
