'Dangerous' men sought by police
Detectives have appealed for help to find three "dangerous" men who left a security guard critically ill in an attack as he delivered cash.

The 32-year-old from Bierley was stabbed a number of times by two hooded men as he made the delivery to a cash machine at Tesco in Cleckheaton.

The attackers fled the scene in a black Seat Leon, driven by a third man.

Officers said the trio were "dangerous men", prepared to cause "serious injury to satisfy their needs".

Critical condition

The guard remained in a critical condition in Dewsbury District Hospital on Wednesday following the attack on Monday afternoon.

The car was found later abandoned in Brikett Street. Police believe the men drove off in a silver Audi estate.

Det Supt Chris Thompson said: "Such incidents are rare but an unnecessary level of violence was used by these men and it is important that we trace them as soon as possible."
