Pair charged over murder of man

Police have charged two people with murder over the death of a 72-year-old man in West Yorkshire.

The body of Jankee Jaimungal was found at a house on Maythorne Avenue, Staincliffe, Batley, on Tuesday. He died from head injuries.

Jonathan Langley, 21, and Lee Anne Lamb, 20, both from Heckmondwike, are due to appear at Huddersfield Magistrates' Court charged with murder.

A 45-year-old man police were questioning has been released on bail.

A 44-year-old woman has been released without charge.
