Girl rescued after cliff plunge
An eight-year-old girl has been rescued after falling from a cliff in Dewsbury.

Four fire crews and specialist line rescue teams were called to Scar Cliff, Thornhill, after alarm was raised on Saturday evening.

They pulled the girl to safety and she was taken to Dewsbury District Hospital.

West Yorkshire Police said another girl involved in the incident was taken to hospital, but further details have not yet been released.
