A GP practice which will cater for more than 9,000 patients is being built in West Yorkshire.
The surgery on Rawdon Road, Haworth, will provide room for nine doctors, three nurses, specialist services and training facilities.
The building will replace the current site on Station Road which has become overcrowded with no room for expansion.
It is hoped the surgery, funded by the Bradford and Airedale Care Partnership, will open at the end of 2005.
A range of services including minor surgery and midwifery in the new building being built on the site of a former car park.
Practice manager Jim Spencer said: "The project will mean much better communication between health professionals and an integration of services which should be working closely together.
"We have been really cramped until now. We haven't even be able to order in bulk which is more economical because we've simply had nowhere to put anything."
