Man stabbed trying to protect car

A man has been stabbed in Bradford after challenging a group of youths who surrounded his car.

The 39-year-old was stable in Bradford Royal Infirmary on Monday after the incident in Little Horton late on Saturday night.

"There was an altercation and the man was stabbed in the abdomen by one of the youths," officers said.

The attacker was aged between 16 and 18 and was wearing a dark zip-up top and jogging pants, the police added.
