Family appeal for stabbed brother
Mohammed Abdul Basier
Mr Basier's body was found in the early hours of Sunday morning
The family of a man who was stabbed to death in an unprovoked attack at the weekend have appealed for the public's help in catching his killer.

Mohammed Abdul Basier, 27, was attacked in Lumb Lane, Bradford, after he left the West End Bar. His body was found in the early hours of Sunday.

At a press conference on Thursday, his brother Javed Mohammad urged anyone who saw what happened to contact police.

Several people who were in the area at the time have yet to come forward.

Detectives said they were disappointed by the public's response so far.

They want to speak to anyone who was in the Lumb Lane area between 2200 GMT on Saturday and 0300 GMT on Sunday - including the driver of a people carrier who passed the murder scene.

The attacker is described as around 5ft 3ins tall, about 30-years-old with dark hair and of either Eastern European or Middle Eastern appearance.
