Bogus police officers raid home

Two burglars pretending to be police officers forced their way into a home before fleeing with televisions and jewellery.

They knocked at the victim's door in Kendrick Road, Reading, on Monday, at about 2100 GMT, before demanding money.

They stole a 50-inch Samsung TV, a 32-inch Samsung TV, Swarovski jewellery and a black and silver Blackberry during the raid.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses.
