Train derailment sparks inquiry

An investigation is under way after a train derailed as it pulled out of a station in Berkshire.

The end carriage of the 0615 BST service came off the tracks as the train pulled away from Windsor and Eton Riverside Station.

South West Trains said 12 people were onboard but no-one was hurt. The passengers were transferred to alternative bus services.

The station has been closed with a bus replacement service running.

Passengers have been advised to use First Great Western services between London Paddington and Windsor & Eton Central.
