Four men jailed after flat fall

Four men convicted of burglary and GBH after two women fell from a second-floor flat have been jailed.

The women were found below a balcony at Merchants Place in Reading on 24 April.

Stephen Mapiki, 24, and Ahmed Zeyadi, 18, were given two years and 21 months respectively, for burglary and two counts of GBH at Oxford Crown Court.

Waseem Khan and Mario Neto, both 23, were jailed for two-and-a half years and 15 months respectively for two counts of GBH on Friday.

Zeyadi, of Ringwood Road, Tilehurst, will serve his sentence at a young offenders' institution.

Khan, of Beresford Road in West Reading, Neto, of Tippett Rise, Katesgrove and Mapiki, from Bamburgh Close, Whitley, were all transferred to prison.
