Jane Treasure was found with fatal stab wounds in Chalvey

A man has been charged with the murder of a 19-year-old woman and the attempted murder of another man.

Jane Treasure was found with stab wounds at a property in Ledgers Road, Chalvey, Slough, Berkshire, on Tuesday.

Earlier police had been called to a house in The Crescent, Chalvey, where they found a 22-year-old man with serious stab wounds.

Mario Carvalho, 24, of Ledgers Road, Chalvey, is due to appear before Slough magistrates on Thursday.

The 22-year-old victim remains in a stable condition in hospital.

In a statement, Miss Treasure's family described her as a "motivated, hard-working healthcare worker and student".
