Dead man's wound self-inflicted

Victoria Hudson
Mrs Hudson's family described her as a "wonderful" person

A man wanted over the death of his wife in Berkshire may have killed himself, tests have revealed.

Andrew Hudson was found dead in a black Rover 620, at Catmore, near Newbury, on Tuesday, according to police.

Post-mortem tests on Mr Hudson, 43, showed a self-inflicted wound to his arm may have been caused by a knife.

Police wanted to speak to him about the death of his wife Victoria Hudson, 39. The mother-of-two was found dead in Buttercup Place, Thatcham, on Monday.

A post-mortem revealed she died from asphyxiation.

Mr Hudson, of Thatcham, was formally identified by police on Friday afternoon.

Mrs Hudson's family described her in an earlier statement as a "wonderful loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed by so many".
