Further charges over stab killing

Three more men have been charged with murder in connection with the stabbing of a Berkshire teenager.

Robert Spence, 17, of Burghfield Common, died after an altercation in Reading in the early hours of 2 May.

Carlton Miles, 28, Jamal Powell, 28, and Leon Wilson, 32, all from Bristol, will appear before magistrates in Reading on Thursday.

Nicholas Olu, 27, also from Bristol, has previously been charged with murder and is awaiting trial.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court at a later date.

Police made an appeal on BBC Crimewatch on Monday to trace David Brooks, 33, originally from the Bristol area, who has gone missing.

Officers are keen to talk to Mr Brooks in connection with the incident.

Two other men, who answered bail on Wednesday, have been released without charge.

Mr Olu is from Sydenham Road, Mr Miles is from Bridge Street, Mr Powell from Thicket Road, and Mr Wilson from Firfield Street.
