Dead man was Slovakian national

A man found dead near an industrial unit in Berkshire has been named as Maros Mucha, a Slovakian national.

The 20-year-old, who was living and working in Newbury as part of a short stay in the UK, died from an injury to his hand, police said.

A passer-by found Mr Mucha's body behind an industrial unit in Arnhem Road, Newbury, on Monday morning.

Police believe the injury could have been accidental and they are not treating the death as suspicious.

Det Sgt Neil Williams, of Thames Valley Police, said: "I am keen to speak to anyone who saw a young man with a noticeable injury to his hand, or who heard a commotion, between 3am and 9am on Monday in the area of Hambridge Road, Arnhem Road and Junction Terrace area of Newbury."
