Three tied up in armed break-in

Three people have been tied up and threatened with guns during an armed robbery at a house in Berkshire.

Two robbers wearing full-face motorcycle helmets broke into the home in Yorktown Road, Sandhurst, on Monday morning.

The victims - two women and a man - were not injured but were left very shaken, police said.

The robbers took jewellery and valuables that police said were worth a "substantial sum".

Officers are appealing for witnesses.
