The wife of a 69-year-old man whose "unexplained death" is being investigated by police has said his family was "at the heart of his world".

Terry Farrell was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital after "an incident" on Southcote Farm Lane, Southcote, Reading, on Saturday.

He was pronounced dead on Saturday night and post-mortem tests have since revealed he died of natural causes.

A 34-year-old man was arrested and has been bailed until 6 March.

Mr Farrell's wife, whose name was not released by police, said: "At this time we are coming to terms, each of us in our own individual way, with the loss of a husband, father and grandfather.

"He had his family at the heart of his world and was loved by friends and people in the local community."
