Planners halt housing development
Planners have halted the construction of at least 150 houses in Berkshire due to fears over increased traffic.

The development was to be located at the junction of Plough Lane and Binfield Road in Wokingham.

It is being opposed by some residents who have formed the Save Plough Lane Action Group.

Wokingham Borough Council said construction was temporarily halted while it investigated the possibility of installing pedestrian crossings.
