Driver dies after car hits wall

A driver suffered fatal injuries when his car left the road and hit a wall in Berkshire.

The Mercedes Benz estate car smashed into the garden wall in Fakenham Way in Owlsmoor, Sandhurst, on Wednesday evening.

The driver, a man in his 60s, was taken to Frimley Park Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

It is not known what caused the car to crash and police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
