Body of cyclist found in the road

Police are investigating the death of a 41-year-old man found lying next to his bicycle on a road in Berkshire.

A broken wing mirror was found near the scene in Barkham, Wokingham, and police believe the man may have been hit by a small black car which failed to stop.

They said the cyclist died at the scene in Bearwood Road on Monday night.

Insp Paul Winks said: "If you have seen a small black car in the area which has damage and is missing a wing mirror then please report it to us."
