Arts and charity workers in Oxfordshire have been recognised in the Queen's New Year Honours list.
James Laurie, Oxford-born actor, writer and director, was appointed OBE for his services to drama.
Lady Brigid Crofton, former trustee and vice-chair of Unicef UK, was appointed OBE for her services to children and families overseas.
Dr Farhan Nizami, founder director, was appointed CBE for his work at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies.
