Wogan witnesses milk truck chase
A 17-year-old has been arrested after a stolen milk truck led police on an hour-long chase along country lanes.

Police said the truck was stolen from Burnham, in Buckinghamshire, and was followed by police before the two occupants abandoned it in Slough.

One of the motorists who saw the pursuit was DJ Terry Wogan who told listeners to his BBC Radio 2 morning programme about what he had seen.

The teenager was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.

He is also being investigated for dangerous driving.

Speaking on his radio show, Wogan said he was shocked to be overtaken by the milk truck and a police car while driving to work.

"It's not something you see every day," he said.
