Historic pub hit by arson attack
An historic pub in Berkshire has been severely damaged by fire in a suspected arson attack.

Firefighters were called to the grade II-listed Uncle Henry's in Northbrook Street, Newbury, at 0100 BST on Sunday.

The pub, which is believed to date to the 16th Century, suffered severe damage and firefighters were still damping down at midday.

An adjacent jewellers was also understood to be affected by the blaze. No one was injured.
