A summer crackdown on drink-driving has begun in the Thames Valley.
Police will set up random check points across the region over the next two months and anyone involved in an accident will be breathalysed.
It is believed that a fifth of the 146 fatal collision in the Thames Valley area last year were caused by excess alcohol or drugs.
Officers are also appealing for people who know anyone who drinks or takes drugs and drives to contact police.
Ch Insp Steve Avil said: "If you drink and then drive home you are not just putting your own life in danger, you are jeopardizing the lives of other road users.
"We will be carrying out targeted intelligence-led roadside tests and we also test every driver involved in a collision regardless of the time of day and whether they have been drinking or not."
