A crackdown on car crime has been launched by police in Berkshire.
Officers will patrol known "hotspots" at times when break-ins and thefts are most likely to happen.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said Operation Lotus had been set up after "a sharp rise in vehicle crime", particularly in east Berkshire.
"The high-visibility patrols will provide reassurance to vehicle owners that we are giving priority to this problem," said Ch Insp Jim Templer.
