Stations across the Thames Valley and Wiltshire are set to undergo major improvements as part of the new Greater Western franchise.
Reading, Didcot, Swindon and Chippenham stations will get more car parking spaces, ticket machines and help desks.
There will also be more cycle parking, information screens and increased CCTV.
The news comes after operator FirstGroup was awarded the Greater Western and Thameslink-Great Northern rail franchises.
Swindon and Reading stations will also get new waiting facilities, new toilets and refreshment facilities, while Chippenham will get a new waiting shelter.
The subway at Didcot station in Oxfordshire will be refurbished and there will be a new taxi shelter.
