More than £25,000 worth of fake goods have been seized from market stalls in a one-day trading standards crackdown.
Almost 470 counterfeit items were confiscated in the swoop by Slough Borough Council officers.
The authority has warned traders that there will be further operations in the run-up to Christmas.
The haul of goods seized included almost 150 handbags, purses, shoes and belts, more than 40 boxes of trainers and about 240 counterfeit DVDs.
Dean Cooke, trading standards officer, said: "Local people who are buying these products may believe they are the real thing and, because of this, the shoddy goods are being sold at hugely inflated prices."
The trading standards team are to carry out further inquires into the sale of the goods.
