Free massages for tired runners

College students gave free massages to tired half-marathon runners as part of their course.

The sports science pupils at Reading College set up a tent at the finish of the Reading Half Marathon, in the car park of the Madejski stadium.

As well as gaining valuable experience tutors say the sessions gave the students the opportunity to be observed and assessed on the day.

The race was won by Julias Kimptai from Ethiopia for the second year in a row.
