Car tyres slashed in parking row
An Asian woman was racially abused and had the tyres of her car slashed in a row over parking, say police.

The woman was driving her Nissan Micra around Asda car park, in Lower Earley, Reading, looking for a space when she was blocked by a blue Ford Fiesta.

The driver, a white woman in her 40s, got out of her car and began shouting racist abuse but the other woman drove off and parked in another space.

When she returned to her car with her shopping, all four tyres were slashed.

The paintwork had also been scratched.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the confrontation in the car park on Tuesday afternoon to contact them.
