Two men dressed head-to-toe in gowns and pushing a child's buggy stole thousands of pounds worth of Indian jewellery and cash in an armed raid.
The pair posed as customers in the jeweller's in Slough, Berkshire, before threatening two members of staff.
After gathering their haul, they stepped out of the front door of the shop in Farnham Road pushing the pram.
Details of the incident, which happened on Sunday 16 January, were revealed by police on Thursday in a witness appeal.
'Distinct clothing'
They want to trace a man and a teenage girl whom the robers passed afterwards.
Det Con Ian Bradshaw said: "This robbery happened on a busy road at a time when many nearby businesses may have been closing for the day.
"Many people may have also been passing the shop on foot and seen two people with a pram either entering the shop or leaving dressed in quite distinct clothing."
They say the robbers wore gowns that only showed a small part of their faces and one had a light-coloured shawl.
The victims of the robbery said they both spoke with men's voices.
