Ten pictures were chosen for the display
Elderly residents at a care home have opened an exhibition of their paintings.

People at Ladybank Residential Home in Birch Hill, Bracknell, Berkshire, have been having classes from a visiting artist as part of a charity project.

Their work has now gone on display at the Wilde Gallery at the Ringmead Arts Centre until the end of January.

Ladybank's Ruth Halliday said: "The art sessions have been so popular with our clients, we are hoping to continue.

"Everyone who took part in the project was so enthusiastic and their enjoyment really comes through in the paintings on display at South Hill Park Arts Centre."

Over the past 12 weeks approximately one third of residents at the home took part in art sessions led by artist Lisa Gibbs.

The best 10 pieces were chosen to go on display at the Wilde Gallery.
