Man accused of Hertfordshire park murder denies charge

A man has denied murdering a 46-year-old whose body was found in a park in Hertfordshire.

Gary Bennett, from Little Oxhey Lane, Watford, was found dead in Aldenham Country Park, Elstree, on 24 February.

His body was found under the awning of a disused information kiosk and tests revealed he died from head injuries.

Julian Felisi, 37, from Whippendell Road, Watford, appeared at St Albans Crown Court via a video link from Bedford jail.

The judge, Mr Justice Calvert-Smith, adjourned the case for the trial which is due to begin on 4 October.
