Fifteen held over Northamptonshire theft warrants

More than 100 police officers have raided homes in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Warwickshire.

Warrants were simultaneously carried out under the Theft Act at 15 homes, mostly in Daventry and a small number in Bedford and Rugby.

Fifteen people were arrested and are due to be questioned at a police station in Northampton.

The warrants were part of a long-term investigation by Northamptonshire Police, Supt Pete Windridge said.
