Funding to train up council staff

A Buckinghamshire council is to spend a total of £90,000 on IT improvements and helping staff provide better customer service.

Milton Keynes Council has been awarded the money from various regional government departments.

Of the funding, £50,000 will be used to train staff on providing better customer service and taking more accurate data a council spokesman said.

A further £40,000 will be spent on improving IT equipment and systems.
