Man charged over street shooting

A man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting outside a Bedfordshire nightclub earlier this year.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was shot outside the Traffik club in Cheapside, Luton, on 26 May.

Ashley Thomas, 21, of Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, Middlesex, is also accused of causing grievous bodily harm, firearm possession and dangerous driving.

He will appear before Luton Crown Court on 23 November.
